Pochi i resti oggi visibili. Ad esso si accedeva mediante una scala di circa 12 gradini ricavata nel podio, la quale comprendeva, probabilmente, l’altare posto al centro. Si colonne calcaree, scanalate e di ordine corinzio erano collocate sulla fronte, sulle quali si elevava il timpano triangolare del tempio; ai lati erano poste 4 colonne, compresa quella d’angolo. L’ampia area del pronao era pari quasi alla metà dell’intera superficie templare.   

Proanos of the major temple

There are only a few remains. One could reach it through a stair of 12 steps built in the podium which, probably, included the altar set in the centre. It consisted of Corinthian calcareous and fluted columns on the front side and the triangulare tympanum of the temple rose on it; four columns, included the corner one, were on its sides. The vast area of the proanos was about the half of the whole temple zone.
