Si trova nell’angolo nord-ovest della terrazza e costituisce molto probabilmente, insieme a un altro muro simile, la costruzione più antica del santuario. Si tratta di un muro di contenimento ed era relativo ad opere di terrazzamento connesse all’uso originario dell’area di culto; potrebbe risalire al IV sec. a.C., come sembrano attestare alcuni frammenti di ceramica dello stesso periodo ritrovati nei restauri degli anni “50.  

Poligonal masonery

It is situated in the North-West corner of the middle terrace and, most probably, together with another similar wall, is part of the oldest construction of the sanctuary. It is a retaining wall built during the terracing works relative to the original use of the religion area.The wall dates back to the 4th cent. B.C. as it seems from the ceramic fragments of the same period discovered during the restoration works made in the 50s.
