E’ una profonda fenditura naturale, aperta in origine sul fronte banco roccioso del monte e oggi in gran parte interrata. Essa venne inglobata nella parete nord del corridoio interno del basamento costruttivo e regolarizzata, nella parte superiore, con un arco a tutto sesto e una volta poggianti su piedritti in opera incerta. Il luogo venne destinato, probabilmente, ad un culto oracolare, forse connesso a quello superiore.   

“Small temple”

It is a structure which was built levelling artificially the rocky west slope of the mountain so that a place to live in or a temple could stand on. It is an irregular opus icertum construction and consisted, in the external side, of nine vaulted rooms connected to each through arched doors and they had arches layng on pilasters on the façade. Such rooms, (only five of them are left), were in communication with the interior corridor.
