Si trova esattamente sull’asse centrale del “piccolo tempio”, addossata, verso Nord, al Muro del corridoio interno. E’ composta da due ambienti comunicanti tra loro ed era rivestita con intonaco idraulico di cocciopesto, come si vede da pochi resti conservati. Era la maggiore delle tre cisterne ubicate intorno al basamento;le altre due, simili per costruzione ma con un unico ambiente, si trovano inserite nei due lati di facciata dell’edificio.   

Double cistern

It is situated just on the central axis of the “Small Temple” and leans, on the north side, against the wall of the interior corridor. It consists of two rooms in communication with each other and celled with hydraulic material (cocciopesto) as one can see in the few remains.It was the largest one among the three cisterns located around the base: the other two, built in the same way but consisting of one only room, are set in the two front sides of the building.
